The total amount made from the AEA highest-bidding of the joint auction was around NTD 97,220,000.

AEA joint auction held on the “first” “Tuesday” of every month, starting at “3” p.m. in the afternoon of April 7th. The total amount made from the highest-bidding was NTD 97,228,765 and will be collected by the national treasury.

Considering the epidemic prevention measures, the AEA authorized the branches to decide whether to hold the joint auction or not.

Due to the consideration of epidemic prevention measures, the Taichung Branch suspended the auction of personal properties and real properties and Taipei Branch suspended the auction of personal properties. The other branches held the auctions simultaneously. The branches also promoted the requirements announced by the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) and encouraged people to keep a distance from others at least 1.5 meters indoor, and 1 meter outdoor. If in the certain circumstance the social distance cannot be effectively maintained, the public is urged to wear masks. 

The personal properties auctioned this time included automobiles from BENZ, LEXUS, CHINA-MOTOR, ISUZU, FORD, MITSUBISHI and AUDI; motorcycles from KYMCO and SUZUKI; jewelries, such as jade accessory and SOPHIA diamond rings; daily goods, such as card readers, salt lamps, laptops, fans, computers, pet goods, motorcycle tires, laundry detergent, dry cleaner and glasses; food, such as fruit vinegar, sauce bamboo, cabbage and dried beef. The total amount made from the auction was NTD 1,143,802.

The total amount made from the real properties this time was NTD 96,084,963. The real properties which had the highest amount made from the highest-bidding were 2 lands located at Rongfu Section, Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City and auctioned by the New Taipei branch. The amount made from the highest-bidding was NTD 44,133,000. The one with the second highest amount made from the highest-bidding was the building located at 11F., No. 182, Huanti Blvd., Luzhou Dist., New Taipei City. The amount made from the highest-bidding was NTD 14,036,666. The building located at 5F., No. 53, Dunan St., Dunan Vil., Qidu Dist., Keelung City and auctioned by the Yilan Branch for NTD 3,134,000 and 3 lands located at Jian Section, Ruifang Dist., New Taipei City and auctioned by Yilan Branch for NTD 184,000. 2 lands located at Fuqian Section, West Central District, Tainan City and auctioned by Tainan Branch for NTD 1,917,000. The land, a farm house and extended constructions located at No. 26-1, Kouping Section, Neimen Dist., Kaohsiung City and auctioned by Kaohsiung Branch for NTD 1,320,000. The land located at No. 464, Neicuo Section, Daliao Dist., and auctioned by Kaohsiung Branch for NTD 496,000, 1 construction land located at No. 688, Minong Section, Meinong Dist., and auctioned by the Kaohsiung Branch for NTD 438,000. 2 lands located at the Tapingding Subsection, Tapingding Section, Hengchun Township, Pingtung County and auctioned by Pingtung Branch for NTD 1,769,400. This joint auction ended with exceptional result. 

In order to respond to the COVID 19 epidemic, the auctions and sales held by the branches will be suspended in principle. However, the auction and sale can be held by necessity and urgent circumstance, if the auction and sale venues are complied with the guidelines enacted by the CECC.

In principle, the auction of real properties will be fully processed with the "communication bidding" (i.e., on-site bidding will not be allowed). However in the event that the bidding environment is complied with the said guidelines, the branches may decide whether to allow the communication bidding and on-side bidding at the same time. Regarding the access provided for the public to watch the bidding, relevant affairs shall be determined by the branches in advance. The epidemic prevention measures shall be the top priority.
